Expedition - Clip Closure Card

Supplies:

Directions:

1. Cut a piece of cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" long for the cardbase.  Score the card 2 3/4" from each end. Fold the card so that the ends meet in the middle.

2. On one side, attach a piece of striped paper.

3. Next, take a piece of Olive cardstock and stamp the leaves in Olive ink on the back side of the cardstock. Lay the stamped image on the foam pad included in the My Acrylix packaging. Cover with a piece of wax paper to prevent tearing, then trace over the entire image using an embossing stylus. Turn the stamped image over and sand the raised images with sandpaper. This creates a beautiful embossed texture that will wow people! Attach this piece to the left side of the card front.

4. Stamp "For You" or any sentiment desired in Olive Ink onto Bamboo cardstock. Mount on Autumn Terracotta cardstock, distressing with Chocolate ink. Adhere to the top left of the card.

5. Now to decorate the Creative Clip. I love these things! First, attach one of the clips with a square top to a scrap of Autumn Terracotta cardstock. Trim around it, distressing the edges and using an Exacto knife to cut along the slit in the clip. Stamp the small leaves in Olive on Bamboo cardstock and attach it to a small square metal-rimmed tag. Adhere the tag to the top of the clip. Tie a little knot of ribbon to one side of the clip. 

6. Attach the Creative Clip to the right side of the card by placing   a silver brad through the center of the leaf on the top of the clip and attaching it to the right side of the card. Now the clip can be used to keep the card closed! So much fun!
