Finding Beauty Card
Supplies:
Finding Beauty stamp set
Sweet Harmony paper packet
Colonial White Designer Ribbon
Blush and Sweet Leaf ink pads
Water color brush
Sponge
Directions:
1. Start with a standard size card. Layer a 4 1/4 by 3 inch piece green
diamond paper on the bottom and a flower 4 1/4x 1 1/2 inch piece on the
top. Add a 1" strip of Sweet leaf cardstock between them.
2. On a scrap of paper, stamp a flower in Blush ink with a Sweet Leaf
stem. To add shading to the flower, pick up some Blush ink on your water
brush and color in the ends of the petals. This is a simple way to add
color depth and interest to an image. Add as much shading as desired. Cut
out flower and stem.
3. Attach the flower and stem to center of card. Cut a slit in the fold
of the card. Through the slit, tie a piece of Pink polka dotted ribbon,
with the knot over the flower.
4. On two small pieces of paper, stamp the saying "Those who look
for beauty" and "Find It." Sponge Blush ink around the
edge. Add the first part of the saying to the top left of the card, and
the rest to the bottom right. You're done! |
