Finding Beauty Layout

Supplies:

Finding Beauty stamp set
Sweet Harmony paper packet
Colonial White Designer Ribbon
Blush and Sweet Leaf ink pads
Water color brush
Sponge

Directions:

1. This layout was created using the "Creative Rhythm" layout idea on page 36 in the Scrapbooking guide book called Cherish. To order this fabulous scrapbook layout book visit www.tracy.myctmh.com.

2. Cut the papers as outlined in the cutting instructions. Layer papers on a piece of white cardstock for your base.

3. For accents, stamp 3 different flowers from the Finding Beauty stamp set in Blush and Sweet Leaf inks. To add shading to the flower, pick up some Blush ink on your water brush and color in the ends of the petals. This is a simple way to add color depth and interest to an image. Add as much shading as desired. Cut out flower and stem. 

4. Add photos to your layout. Then attach the cut out flowers as shown in the picture. Add a knot of Blush and white polka dot ribbon on the flowers by the stem. Tie a piece of ribbon around the large photo mat on the left page.

5. Now add journaling and a title! I sponged Sweet Leaf ink around the journaling pieces on my layout. I put birthday photos on this layout, but this is a darling layout for Easter photos (just switch the "Happy Birthday" caption for "Easter"). That's it! I love using Cherish to create beautiful scrapbook pages in a snap!
