Handstamped by Tracy L.
Instructions:
1. On 2 strips of white cardstock stamp rows of holly and berries, alternating the
berries up and down. Stamp 2 other holly and berries on a scrap of paper.
2. Color in holly and berries. I like to use the stencil technique. Stamp the holly and
berries twice on a piece of glossy cardstock. On one stamping, cut out the leaves with an
exacto knife. Cut on the outside of the lines. On the other stamping cut out the berries.
You've just made a stencil. Line up the berry stencil over the stamped berries for your
bag. Now using a sponge, pick up ink from the cranberry ink pad and dab it in the stencil
opening. Keep going until it is colored as desired. Repeat with green for the leaves. It's
a fast and easy coloring technique!
3. Cut a piece of Ponderosa Pine cardstock to fit the bag. Glue the strips of holly and
berries at the top and bottom.
4. Stamp "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" in Ponderosa Pine ink on a square of
cardstock. Mount with ponderosa pine and cranberry cardstocks. Attach it to the front of
the bag with 2 extra holly and berries at opposite corners. |
