Directions:
1. Use a piece of 12"x12" Barn red cardstock from the paper
packet for the base of the page.
2. For the top border, take a 2 1/2x 12 piece of Desert Sand cardstock,
spritz it with water, wrinkle it, and then iron it to dry and flatten it.
This creates the wrinkled leathered texture. Add it to the top of the
layout with a border sticker where the 2 cardstocks meet.
3. Add to the top border 2- 1" squares of cardstock. Decorate
squares with stickers from the My Stickease packet. Add 3 pewter brads, 1
between the squares and one on each side.
4. Mount photos on Goldrush cardstock. Trace one of the book plates
from the tag stencil and cut out, mounting it on Goldrush cardstock. Stamp
"Family and Friends" on the tag, adding a pewter brad on each
end. Tie jute around the bottom of the layout and then add the book plate
on top to one side. You're done! |
