Stationery Holder
This is a
great gift to give for any occasion. Simple and easy to make, you can fill it
with any kind of card or stationery you desire. This stationery holder can hold
up to 5 cards, 5 envelopes and a little pen or pencil too.
Supplies:
6x6 sheet protector
Cardstock
Adhesive sheets
Velcro
Cards and envelopes to put inside
Directions:
- To make the pouch, take a 6x6 sheet protector and cut off the flap that
has the holes to put it in an album. You are left with a plastic pocket with
the opening at the top.
- Cut out a flap that goes on the top. To make my flap, I traced the flap on
the pouch that our My Acrylix stamps come in to get the cute shape. Score
the flap 1 1/2 inches from the end and fold. Now attach the flap to the
sheet protector by putting strong adhesive on the 1 1/2 inch section of the
flap and attach it to the back of the sheet protector. Use adhesive such as
our adhesive sheets because glue sticks just won't cut it. I just cut a
strip of the double sided adhesive sheet and put it on...love this stuff!
So, your flap will be attached to the backside of the sheet protector and
fold over the top down in front.
- I like to attach a small piece of velcro in front to keep the pouch
closed. It looks darling to add a snap or concho on the flap for decoration
even though it's really just velcro underneath holding it closed.
- Now just fill it with some cute handstamped cards, envelopes and a pen.
You'll get a smile from the lucky recipient!
