Sunflower Plaid

Directions:

1. Start with a standard size card made with Spring Iris cardstock with the fold at the top.
2. Take a piece of white cardstock 5"x3 3/4". Create a plaid design using the Plaid stripe-4 in spring Iris ink. Stamp in between the lines with the other plaid stamp in clover meadow. Mount on card front. See "How to Make Plaids" on the stamping techniques page for tips.
3. On a scrap piece of paper stamp the sunflower in spring iris with a yellow center. Cut out. Stamp 2 leaves in clover meadow and cut out. Use second generation stampings with the solid fill-in stamp.
4. On a small piece of paper stamp "Hello" in spring iris ink. Sponge spring iris ink around the edges and mount on spring iris cardstock.
5. To assemble the card, place the saying at the lower left corner of the card. Add the flower at the upper right corner, using foam mounting tape to make the flower raised.
