Tags GaloreI love making gift tags! Tags give any gift that extra special touch that shows you care. And you can use up a lot of tags during this holiday season! So, to help your tag-making projects a little easier here are some tag-making tips! 1. Use a template! I love using our Coluzzle Tag Template for cutting out some fast and easy tags. These tags were literally cut out in about 5 seconds each! For instructions on how to use the Coluzzle system, click here. On the "JOY" tag below, I also used the template to cut out the patterned paper layer. Very easy.
2. Rectangle Tags are a snap! If you want a really fast and easy tag, simply cut a rectangle with your paper trimmer, then use a corner rounder to round off the edges. Decorate as desired. This type of tag is great when you need large quantities.
3. Cutting Corners. Here's a little tip for making even corners on your tags. Start with a rectangle shaped piece of cardstock. Cut off one corner. Now take the piece you just trimmed off the first corner and hold it over the corner that needs cutting. Use it as a guide to trim the second corner. This way you will have two corners that are cut at the same angles! Making a second layer on your tag? Here's another tip. Line up the smaller layer with the top of your tag and use it to trim off the corners. This way the layer will have the exact same angles as your base. It's easy!
